Who is going to win our first Challenge on War Clicks?
– We are giving away HUGE rewards on the upcoming weekly competition round (June 10th-16th)… read below to get more details on this!

On top of giving out our usual weekly rewards on competitions, we now decided to give out some crazy rewards for the winners of the upcoming competition round!
This is something special we never run on War Clicks, so it is supposed to be different than the usual round, being more competitive for those who want to join and compete with other soldiers for the winning spot,Title and rewards!

*So, what is extra here?
We are preparing the Special Recognition system– ”My Titles” page on profiles, where all of your special titles reached within the game will be stored – that’s how you could now also differentiate from others by reaching the special titles on challenges, events, …
(We’ll also add the Titles to those (we promised) who won the previous Events)

We’ll let you know more about this update before we release it – hopefully that’d be soon!

The Special competitions on the round during (June 10th-16th) will be running in different categories:

Competitions for our late-game players:

  1. TOP players by SCORE

  2. Top players by Power Points

  3. TOP players by Contractors increase

Competition for our mid and start-game players:
4. TOP players by Levels gained

Who is going to take it all? The Rules…
Rewards will be distributed only to winners of every category mentioned above.So, we will deliver rewards only to 4 different users in this Challenge. Only max. 1 reward per user will be distributed.

Reward distribution
Rewards will be distributed manually to the winners within 3 days after the competition round ends.

*In case the same user wins 2 categories, only 1 category will be taken into account for rewards (the one where user won with bigger advantage % before the 2nd ranked). In that case, we’ll also reward 2nd ranked user in the category where the difference between 1st and 2nd user was smaller (2nd user will be that’s how taken as an eligible winner of the category -).

The rewards:
The Total amount of rewards is one of the biggest so far!!
We’ll be giving out 100,000 Gold to our players, which will be divided in every category equally:

Group 1 – Top player by Score will be winning 25.000 Gold
Group 2 – Top player by Power Points will be winning 25.000 Gold
Group 3– Top player by Contractor increase will be winning 25.000 Gold
Group 4 – Top player by Level Gained will be winning 25.000 Gold

The Command Center – New Feature

Command center is the hub of your production and military advancements. Here you will be able to research powerful technologies, select your preferred loadouts, buy powerful upgrades helping every area of your army and unlock useful upgrades and quality of life settings that will make managing everything a whole lot easier!

The main area of your attention here will be the research system. 
You will collect Research Points (RP) from various activities:

  • Reaching levels (after level 5, each level gives 1 RP, and increases by 1 every 100th level, capping at 10 RP)
  • Reaching ranks (each rank reached gives 1 more RP, starting at 1 RP)
  • Reaching renown (each renown gives 1 more RP – starting at 1 RP, capping at 5RP)
  • Collecting achievements (each achievement of the same type gives 1 more RP, starting at 1 RP, capping at 20 RP)

You can then use these Research points for conducting researches with your research teams, developing powerful technologies that you can then equip to your loadouts to activate them. Research points can also be used to buy permanent useful upgrades. You can only research new items if you have empty inventory slots or research team is not yet occupied.

As you reach further levels you will unlock more loadout slots, more research teams and more inventory slots. Inventory slots become important, as you will have to decide on combining your technologies into more powerful ones, or re-inventing them – reinventing will refund your Research Points and allow you to research again, hopefully a better technology!
Conducting researches gives you a chance to produce a technology for one of your loadout slots (Boot Camp, War Zone or Country HQ). As you conduct research you will improve your research levels, giving your new technologies higher boosts. Gaining new research level stars by requiring 3 researches, and goes up by 1 more, up to a max 10 required for a new level.

Items researched will give boosts based on your research level. However, researching a more rare technology will give higher leveled boosts (Common – +0 levels, Uncommon +1, Rare +2, Very Rare +3, Epic +4)

There are various boosts that can be researched for each technology type:

  • Boot Camp – production multiplier (+0.1% per level), production multipliers for L/A/W unit types (+0.1% per level)
  • War Zone – DPC multiplier (+0.2% per level), support multiplier(+0.3% per level), PvP power multiplier(+1% per level)
  • Country HQ – coming soon
    Having several of the same boosts equipped in your loadout is additive, but the overall effect of loadout equipped boosts is multiplicative.

We will be adding a ton more useful boosts that can be researched in the near future!

COMBINE

As you fill up your inventory slots you will have to either re-invent your technologies (and keep researching, hoping for a better one to be discovered by your teams – this refunds your RP but ALSO reduces your research level progress), or combine technologies of the same type (indicated by their icon and name) to clear up inventory slots.

Combining items destroys them, and makes a new stronger one (clears up 1 inventory slot), it is done in the following way:
Name/type of technology will be taken, the higher rarity of the technologies will be taken, level of the highest technology will be taken.
If boosts from both technologies are different, it will combine their top 3 (highest leveled boosts!) boosts.

If one of the technologies already had 3 different boosts, and the type of top boosts did not change, then the highest leveled boost will be increased by one level, and the technology level will also be increased by one.

Similarly, if combining technologies have one boost, and its of the same type, the higher level boost will be taken, and its level increased by one.

In early December we are releasing massive content updates for the game – Country vc. Country – a long-announced feature that will take part in Country Headquarters – with completely new game mechanics. And there are the Events – for those who enjoy the single playing experience and also for the competitive players that love to compete for Event rewards and status! In short, these will add exciting limited time content for everyone to spice up your experience 😉

Progression improvements – part2

During the weekend we’ve pushed another set of progression changes, this time mainly touching War Zone experience, especially in late game.
*To make sure you are seeing everything properly and to avoid any issues we suggest refreshing the game if you see this message while playing.

In short, things that were changed:

  • Boss battles were optimized in health to scale better, be more challenging and give a better experience.
  • Level and Rank Battle Stars rewards were significantly increased to stay more on-par with Battle star rewards from battles
  • Achievement rewards were significantly increased
  • Additional upgrade tiers added to DPC HQ upgrades, to keep low level upgrades more up to par, as well as to slightly reduce over-reliance on support units for DPC at late stages. Similarly some price multipliers were reduced for a few upgrades late game.
  • 2 more renown titles and 2 more ranks were added at late stages.

We hope you enjoy the changes – we will be touching more balancing issues when Country vs. Country feature (CvC) is released in the following weeks, as rewards from there will feed back into War Zone and Boot Camp :)

Hey everyone,

This week we have one of the most anticipated and needed set of updates coming up – major balance and progression improvements! These will address many issues where users are not getting a great experience, as the game is too slow, or feels imbalanced, and just simply the numbers don’t seem as fine tuned as they could be.

In short, we will mainly be addressing privatization boosts, upgrades in Boot Camp, unit strengths in War Zone, War Zone upgrade costs, achievement/level/rank rewards and some other tid bits.

As the game is live with thousands of players it is imperative to us that we do these changes in such a manner that it doesn’t ruin your experience at any point, for anyone – i.e. That you’d have significantly slower progression after the update. So worry not about that, as one of the reasons why this is taking so long is due to us preparing tons of test accounts at various points, to ensure we don’t degrade the experience, but improve it!

The updates will be rolled out in a few sets, starting with privatization boost changes and/or vast upgrades’ multipliers improvements and addition of new in Boot Camp, especially at late game – this first set will be rolled out on Tuesday this week! Official Homepage revamped + Halloween theme on War Clicks

Userbase of War Clicks players changed a lot in this year! Due to increased popularity of the game, and lots of new features, we’ve now been working with more players in this year than ever before. We’re happy that more and more players stay in the game for longer periods, and also quite a lot of players from the very beginnings of War Clicks are still with us, which is great to see!

Yesterday, we’ve released a revamp of the main part of Homepage, making it more attractive for new players to come in the following months. Feel free to check it out and be sure to let us know what you think about it:

Players playing on the official site can also find some other improvements, not just the homepage/login system, but also when playing you’ll find a new cooler background now populates the space around the game!

Country vs Country feature (CvC) – summary of purpose and specifications

Hey everyone,

We are happy to be able to finally present the barebone of specifications for the upcoming Country vs Country feature! We have been narrowing down the specifications for CvC the past few weeks, as there were a ton of potential ideas, solutions, problems, issues, tweaks etc.

We had to go over various versions and ideas that introduced unfairness due to time zone differences, had an “online time pressure”, had 0 country concept, were too messy/confusing for players, were too random, had boring mechanics,… Shortly put, there was a lot of things considered we had to reject for various reasons. We ended up with something that we feel fits the game, connects some unconnected parts of the game, introduces a lot of community/social elements, gets rid of “country isolation”, is not time-pressured and creates an ever-evolving/dynamic competitive environment that will get everyone and every country a great experience!

Purpose/goals of CvC

With Country vs Country we want to add a late game feature to the game, that will make the game more fun (especially at late stages) by adding additional depth, giving more meaning to „country“, and connect ALL users in common „events“ and playing goals as well as add a new highly social element to the game. As a late game feature and as a “controllable mechanic” it can also be used in various fun and exciting ways to balance out late game for players and keep the game fun for far longer periods of time, giving users the chance to get more invested with the game.

We also wanted the function to be as simple and easy to understand as possible for users, and not over complicated. Minimum user effort for maximum reward, fun and social gain.

How it works/specs

As the feature is quite extensive there is quite a bit to explain , to get a full idea of how the feature will look like. For those that might find such long specs boring, you might want to scroll-down to check the first graphics  😉 But as a lot of you are anxious of what’s coming, we felt it’s best to give you as much information as possible!

Quite a few updates, some being quite impactful

Last week week we’ve deployed quite a few updates, some being quite impactful (in order of most to least recent):

  • PvP support unit losses no longer added wave by wave, but only calculated overall for each unit type. Before you could’ve lost up to 5×3% of a unit in each PvP battle, this has now been maxed to 3% overall.
  • Added a multiplicative 1% DPC and 2% Support Power multiplicators to every PvP upgrade, which will help negate support unit losses, and actually help towards progression and increasing your long term damage output. This will also make Support Power a LOT more useful across all stages.
  • Deploy/Privatization sometimes causing some icons to disappear temporarily
  • Boss battle type now works properly with support power
  • Added a “time to deploy” information to the deploy screen, allowing you to make easier decisions of what actions to take
  • Other minor changes, bugfixes and improvements
