Anniversary doubled rewards are LIVE!

Starting on the last Saturday all video rewards (production MX, gold, fuel, *no extra effect on TC unlock) are doubled! These will last until the end of Friday 22nd March, so make the most of them 😉

To avoid confusion, production MX boost from video ads will reset to 2x on Saturday 23rd, regardless of how much boost time you have left.

Still few hours left:
Within the Event shop, you will notice that Event MXes are now cheaper, to make them relatively valuable to event time left. Plus the 3h Time Warps are also now slightly cheaper as well!

We are still looking into the missing CvC spoils issues in some cases, and have added additional logs (unfortunately it’s a slow process of adding logs and checking them to get to the bottom of the issue). If anyone’s lacking any spoil points from CvC, just let us know and we’ll add them manually.

Let’s start 3rd War Clicks anniversary activities!

Anniversary Event has just started – it has the biggest rewards so far and we’re also doing something special with it. The TOP 11 players at the end of Event will represent the spearhead of the next Event’s Army, as units will be named after them! We wanted to give this chance at recognition to the players most avidly playing and supporting us 😉

Furthermore, starting this Saturday and lasting a whole week, all of Video boost rewards will be doubled (Production boost, gold, fuel), so make sure to be around and make the most of it! … With the celebratory spirit during this big anniversary, we might also give additional promo codes, so keep an eye for any news & mentions of those 😉

As we are also lining up to work on some huge (content) updates on the game – next week we will also be hosting two short Discord events, where we will want to hear more from you on some big update topics. But more on that when we set exact dates in stone…

Upcoming Anniversary Event!

We can barely believe that on this Sunday (March 17th) it will be 3 years since our very first version of War Clicks was put live! From a tiny side project, to becoming our main focus, the game has had so many updates and improvements to date it’s crazy!

We’re so thankful for all the support, especially from some players who are here from the start, but also to those who’ve joined in the last year, when we started focusing on its development a lot more!

To celebrate this, March will be filled with tons of rewards, new updates, some special events and boosts we will be hosting – starting with our Anniversary Event this Thursday! You definitely want to keep an eye on the various things coming your way 😉

More information about everything to come will be shared in the following days, but we also wanted to take this opportunity to share the newest improvement – announcement rework.
We have added tabs to be able to easily check some past announcements and also a “change log” tab, which will be used for more of the specific/technical information about our updates, to keep you fully up-to-date with what we are working on!

War Clicks reached 500,000 plays on Kongregate

Thanks to our cooperation with Kongregate, we’ve managed to reach 500,000 plays on their platform in just around 7 months after we released War Clicks there (published on August 8th, 2018).

War Clicks is now already between the TOP played Idle games released in the last year on Kongregate, and will with continued improvements and additions to the game hopefully reach 1 million plays in less than a year!

All this wouldn’t be possible without such a great community, so thank you all to continue playing War Clicks, we are determined to keep delivering awesome updates this year, so your playing experience will keep getting better and better!

Country Headquarters incentives added

Today, we deployed a change to Country Headquarters where users will clearly see and be more incentivized  to do their unused daily chances in invasions, meaning more users will now help their country become a stronger force on the battlefield…

After collecting and analyzing more player feedback, we found out that players are in general not using all of their daily CHQ options to vote/fight. Regular players who are giving all efforts to empower their countries, would love to see more countrymen to join and help country to progress through some hard Invasions and get bigger numbers on CvC fights…

A few weeks ago, we shortened Invasion timers from 30 minutes to just 10 minutes waiting time between the chances, so more players can now complete the Invasions a lot easier every day!

The next step was adding simple incentives/notifications to Country Headquarters, which was implemented a few hours ago… As you, we want more players to participate in Country HQ activities daily so this will help get more players take part in country battles & voting.. so you’ll now find new notifications on Invasion and CvC, the same way as it was now on the Voting…

Our 2-week focus and major March plans

We’d like to give you a rough outline of our update status for the next two weeks, as one of our staff (the one writing this) is going on a vacation, and won’t be available until then. As part of my work involves working on the more core updates (bug fixes, functionalities, balancing, looking more deeply in any account issues) this is a heads up that progress on those will be more or less halted until 6th March.

Meanwhile our other programmer is working on a full settings rework, which we are very excited about, as it will finally allow us to add a ton of customization and additional settings/info to the game with ease. From various number formats, to display customization, hiding idle gain popups, custom key shortcuts, disabling key shortcuts, extra info on upgrade screens… Basically any of the various ideas/requests suggestions you guys wanted, we will now be able to do much more easily – as they have to be a part of settings to not clutter the UI/experience for a new user, but still allows longer term users to add/customize more things.

First, in the following days the system with only existing settings will be reworked, the next step will be adding various format/number display options, and then other options added on the go. New Event is coming in March, but meanwhile feel free to participate in Country battles to guarantee yourself an Alliance ticket for the weekend fights!

We’ve lowered the waiting times between Invasion attempts from 30 to 10 minutes, so more players will now be able to use all of their 3 Free daily chances to fight Invasions! (Use all chances today)

P.S.: New round of Weekly Competitions started yesterday (Trophy icon in left low-corner) and will end on Sunday – Do you have the power to outperform other players there??

  • Wait time between invasion attempts reduced from 30 to 10 minutes
  • Fixed “Baloon” spelling in Event
  • Fixed a bunch of random bugs with claiming SPW or promo codes rewards related to Time Challenge, or time challenge unlock.
  • Spin The Wheel chances immediately deduct visually and added some multi click prevention if you ran out of spins
  • Added some additional checks to War Zone progress verification/saving, that presumably might have increased the chance of causing any “negative/positive signs” for revertions
  • Prevention of double offerwall confirmation popup, adding gold twice and causing issues from them
  • Fixed (presumably) any issues with showing Event or Competition rewards popups
