Development Updates – 9th August

Hey,

We have just pushed several updates, bug fixes/improvements to War Clicks:

resolved an issue where renown goal rewards caused some potential unit/upgrade loss, as they weren’t immediately considered on state update (i.e. Buying 25 units, and it reverted to 23 units bought)

Resolved some potential cycle gain display issues on Boot Camp tents (e200, stuck animation...)

Fixed a case where farm icon would not show

Fixed an issue where out/in focus could create doubled events in Boot Camp (buy 1 unit, but ti buys twice, trainers  pop up open/close immediately)

Improved some settings that potentially caused 403 errors if you had game opened for several hours

Ranks and Renown  information popups improved design and with more information on future rewards

Changed chat date format

added some missing click sounds, and some other minor display fixes

Fixed an issue where in IE you couldn’t click on “sacrifice” or “farming” after losing a Boss battle
Thanks to everyone for your feedback and help with reporting any issues and giving out suggestions. A lot more updates, improvements and bug fixes are comings in the following week as well 😉

Development Updates – 27th June

We’re halfway into our “bug hunting week” and we are glad to report that today we have squashed several of the most annoying bugs some of you have been experiencing – several bugs related to War Zone saving/progress issue!

Bugfixes:
– Fixed several issues where using 30s DPC, buying upgrades (or any other action) during a Boss Battle resulted in some progress not being saved sometimes.
– Fixed issues with gold and fuel drops from units would not be saved correctly
– Fixed issues with using 30s double DPC upgrade, as well as issues with unchanged fuel consumption when buying Double/Triple DPC that resulted in lost progress
– Display issues when buying several 30s DPC-upgrade will now show the proper amount of remaining uses
– DPC in player profiles will now display correctly

We are continuing with other bugfixes and improvements, so expect your experience to be further improved in the following days :)

We also realize that the in-game chat is highly anticipated, and we are happy to say that after various issues of deploying it live, we have managed to fix them today so the chat will finally be added for everyone to use tomorrow!!

Development Updates – 26th June

We just deployed a smaller update that fixes & changes some things in Country HQ:
– Invasion unlock and buy chances now have a confirmation popup so you can’t use them by mistake
– Country stats are not working in some cases fixed
– We made Treasury gold gained from completing Break the Line battles scale with the amount of active users a country has, to make it fair.  The treasury gold reward will scale at the same time as upgrade costs.
Furthermore, with this change the Air Strike cost was increased by 50%
– Unfortunately, we have not yet managed to get our new chat working on the live servers -> we are working frantically to get it sorted as we know it’s missed and it’s going to be an awesome addition!

After a lot of feedback and thinking we have also decided to change the way country score competition works. Now it will NOT compare score difference from end of last week, but only count gained score in a country by all users during a competition week.
This will remove a lot of confusion about the competition and make the results less dependent on any players not being active.

This week we are also focusing on many bugfixes and improvements that have been annoying you guys the most! We hope to have a large list of fixes for you to read by the end of the week J Next week we will be relooking at any number/balance changes for Country HQ so we appreciate any additional feedback :)

Updates 16th-20th March

We’re glad to let you know that we’ve almost completely reduced connectivity/server issues with a bunch of optimizations the past week, and are now able to focus on bug fixes, improvements, and progression improvements to the game!

In the last few days we deployed several fixes to a few bigger bugs some of you were experiencing extremely rarely, as well as other, less noticeable improvements:
– In some rare cases users suddenly lost ALL of their support units. This was related to some specific use of the sacrifice function and has been fixed. In case anyone experienced this and still lacks the units lost, please send us an email at [email protected] with your estimate of how many support units you lost, so we can confirm and re-add them.
– Saving issues when activating 30 second Double DPC upgrade during a boss fight. This has been resolved, and the fix also helped us improve saving fallback in some other potential cases!
– In case you somehow „over-click“ (i.e. Via your own autoclicker) the 10clicks/second limit and get progress reset on a PvP battle, the game will now give a descriptive note to make you aware of why any progress was reset.
– Spin The Wheel double click prevention was added on the handle bar, to make sure you can see what you’ve won
– changed the misleading „seconds left“ on support attacks to „attacks left“
– various other massive optimizations of our backend services handling data calculations and storing to further improve our stability and reduce any connectivity or long loading issues to a minimum

We’ve also made some improvements to how our offerwall section is displayed, as well as we’ve worked with our providers to improve the fill and variety of offers for you! So if you want to make some extra gold for free, make sure to check for new offers daily (You’ll find the offers button within the shop.). Not only it helps support your fighting efforts but also continued development of the game :)

Achievements & Milestones

As we promised in the previous post, we’ll keep you updated about our development and new features coming out and all improvements following as well!

Today, we’ll introduce the changes to upcoming achievements and milestones…
We’ve decided to unify both menus as we think that should be the easiest way for players to understand the mechanics and get a nicer view on their progress/ upcoming rewards for their continuous training and fighting. Achievements/milestones icons will be found just below the profile and presented by the same icon. Ultimately how they work will stay the same, but make it that much clearer – so achievements stay in WarZone – and are still a reward you get for fighting there. Milestones are achieved  in BootCamp by training more units, and are a great tool to see what can you get once upgrading the specific unit to the first upcoming milestone. This tool can be used for those who want to get started with the game more seriously and strategizing about the units they want to build next!

Huge announcement: Things to come on WarClicks PART1

A few weeks ago, our full team started working on a huge update on WarClicks. First, we’re improving the overall interface, user experience and overhauling the graphics completely! We’re going to unify menus, create unique profiles, and make both worlds (especially WarZone)  feel completely different. Most importantly, we’re rebasing the code for much improved performance, squash the bugs in the process and change the way WarZone works by adding new elements and improving existing. We’re also connecting BootCamp and WarZone much more clearly – now you’ll be able to train your units in BootCamp and then use them in WarZone to progress faster.

Overall the game will feel and look much more professional and should help us attract much more players in the future. Our development is closely connected to our marketing plans and we are working hard to improve the game experience and share the word around to grow the community as it will make it funner!

Today is the first day we want to share some of the graphics with our faithful players, so you can better imagine how the game will be improved and look like (there’s a lot more to come!).
