War Clicks overview – future updates/ coming up in the next weeks/ months…

Today, we had a great briefing at our office regarding the future of War Clicks! There’s a lot of things we still want to properly consider to work towards, but we wanted to give you more information on what we are definitely focusing on next and working in the following weeks/months. We’ll soon follow up with more details on a more long-term plan for the game as well!

So without further ado, let’s get into the fun part – what we’ll be delivering to you in the following days/weeks :)

 

We are currently working on various unlock additions to the command center, primarily focusing on Quality of Life (QoL) and automation settings, as we believe that is a very important part of any deep incremental to make it more enjoyable by simplifying repeat of arbitrary actions!

 

First of them, we plan to add the “Buy all units” option to Boot Camp, which will allow you to buy all BC units (based on your current buy amount setting) in a specific order – which you will be able to set -we are aiming to add this tomorrow 😉

 

Besides that, we also want to add a buy 10/Max to Army Setup in War Zone, “best benefit” order to Army Setup HQ upgrades, AutoClicker boosts + improvements, and various other similar settings. Lastly, we are strongly considering adding a Continue reading

War Clicks reached 500,000 plays on Kongregate

Thanks to our cooperation with Kongregate, we’ve managed to reach 500,000 plays on their platform in just around 7 months after we released War Clicks there (published on August 8th, 2018).

War Clicks is now already between the TOP played Idle games released in the last year on Kongregate, and will with continued improvements and additions to the game hopefully reach 1 million plays in less than a year!

All this wouldn’t be possible without such a great community, so thank you all to continue playing War Clicks, we are determined to keep delivering awesome updates this year, so your playing experience will keep getting better and better!

2018 Indie of the Year Awards

End of 2018 is nearly here and the traditional Nominations for 2018 Indie of the Year Awards have begun.
There are 10,000 games to Vote for right now and only the best will get through to the Final of 100 Games (approximately TOP 1% of Games).
The last year, we reached the Finals with War Clicks, and after a great year of development and improvements/new features, we are hoping to get there this year as well. There are a few new great games that will be competing this year, so it means there’s an even tougher competition this year to get into the Finals.

*Nominations will close (tomorrow) on December 10th and the list of of TOP 100 will be revealed the day after on December 11th. After that, the Voting on Top 100 games will begin for another 10 days to determine the 2018 Indie of the Year!

Premium Feature Release – Part 1

As War Clicks is getting bigger, so do all of its products & features. For a long time we’ve been listening to players wishes of having some cosmetic items in the game and we never had enough time to deliver on those wishes. Finally though, after getting through majority of the pressing bugs and issues we’re delivering you the first set of cosmetic items you can buy to personalize your experience :) We were hoping to get it out for Easter already, but it took a bit more additional work – but here it is!

We’ve added some Wallpapers of WarZone and Bootcamp and different types of Cursors as well, so that you can gain new visual experience and even gain a bit of a DPC boost with Cursors (check inside the Shop – New category; image below):

There aren’t a lot of wallpapers and cursors available to choose from yet, but we’ll be adding more soon! Changing Wallpapers was always one of our ideas of giving players an option to personalize their experience that fits the gameplay. As lots of players like to see some in-game progress, collecting Gold for visual purposes might help you experience something completely new, giving you extra fun while playing for longer periods of time.

As this is already a huge step of War Clicks of having some cosmetic items, it is just a beginning of new cosmetic features in 2018!…
We are thrilled to let you know that we’re already working on adding new customized profiles, so that players could change their favorite characters…Enough for now, we’ll release more details about it in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned :)
