Postmortem and Things to come on WarClicks – PART3

Hey all,

Can’t believe it’s been over one year since we started seriously developing WarClicks! Since then we’ve done ton of updates that changed and expanded the game massively, learned so much about the genre and all the possibilities it offers, and watching it expand via so many cool features added in the game.

In fact your contribution and feedback has been a huge help in not just helping us keep the game alive, but also discussions are one of the major driving forces that kept us rethinking things, what we were doing wrong and what we can and should improve. Instead of writing huge incremental walls of text, we’ll try to keep it to some of our most useful lessons that can stay in points (most are aimed at fellow developers, some are just more general):

Things to come on WarClicks- PART2

As we announced in our previous post, we are fully working on a rework. Today we are sharing the renewed graphics of Upgrades in BootCamp, so you can get a better look into all of the things we are working on. Although the mechanics of upgrades in BootCamp stays the same, we’ve improved the way it looks and feels. And there’s a dozen of changes like this one coming! Game should look more professional and also attract more experienced players to join us! Most of these „pop-ups“ will also have a question box to better explain the functionality and give more information on the all the features. Who knows, maybe even you’ve missed some important and interesting details!

Huge announcement: Things to come on WarClicks PART1

A few weeks ago, our full team started working on a huge update on WarClicks. First, we’re improving the overall interface, user experience and overhauling the graphics completely! We’re going to unify menus, create unique profiles, and make both worlds (especially WarZone)  feel completely different. Most importantly, we’re rebasing the code for much improved performance, squash the bugs in the process and change the way WarZone works by adding new elements and improving existing. We’re also connecting BootCamp and WarZone much more clearly – now you’ll be able to train your units in BootCamp and then use them in WarZone to progress faster.

Overall the game will feel and look much more professional and should help us attract much more players in the future. Our development is closely connected to our marketing plans and we are working hard to improve the game experience and share the word around to grow the community as it will make it funner!

Today is the first day we want to share some of the graphics with our faithful players, so you can better imagine how the game will be improved and look like (there’s a lot more to come!). Please share your thoughts about first sneak peaks, or tell your friends about it and help us build a great community that we’ll all be proud of!
